✅ We are seeking applications from a skilled and passionate individual who will act as the front door and face to the social innovation team based in Gisborne. ✅ Provide support to the Tumu Whakarae (Manager) in the day-to-day operations of the office and team. ✅ Champion and communicate the kaupapa of Healthy Families East Cape across the organisation and Te Tairāwhiti ✅ Give oversight of the operations and systems of the office, and efficiently coordinate a range of tasks for the Tumu Whakarae and/or team when necessary. ✅ Support cross-organisational strategies, initiatives and mahi that achieve better health outcomes for Te Tairāwhiti and our communities. ✅ Proactively identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the team has the resources and the support that allow them to undertake their mahi. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Practice Lead who develops and drives the strategic thinking and innovation practice alongside the Healthy Families East Cape team.
They will have expert knowledge in both systems change theory and design methodologies. They will work across the Healthy Families team to identify strategic priorities and drive initiatives as well as developing “insights” to advance strategic direction across the local and national system. They will also support the team to track and identify impacts and learning across the initiatives to feedback into the national narrative. The Practice Lead will provide ongoing coaching and capability building across the team in innovation practice, including whanau-centered design, systems thinking, and developmental evaluation practice. Reporting to the Manager, of Healthy Families East Cape, the Practice Lead draws on community connections and establishes new connections to advance the Healthy Families NZ kaupapa in the East Cape region. This is an all-encompassing role that requires an innovative and practical individual who can operate equally.
